Blue Lakes aims to make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Our purpose is to serve individuals and their families from the time of diagnosis through adulthood with optimal care and sustain the integration of skills into their natural environment.

Blue Lakes provides effective and comprehensive services to children with autism using evidence-based practices that are clinically and ethically valid to teach skills in a way that is fun and meaningful

  • Blue Lakes works closely with all members of the child’s team, including parents. We develop a service model for the child based on input from all members of their team.

  • Blue Lakes believes that everyone is different and, therefore, everyone’s view of his or her own world is unique and individualized. As such, we employ a person-centered model that allows us to obtain the necessary information to focus on learner needs as it applies to their wants, hopes, and dreams. This empathetic approach allows us to provide high-quality services prioritizing the values and goals of the individual while empowering collaboration with the family.

  • Blue Lakes utilized treatment delivery models that are proven to be effective and are considered evidence-based practices. An evidence-based practice is an instructional procedure or set of procedures for which researchers have provided ample research that illustrates consistent practice produces positive outcomes for learners, youth, and/or adults with ASD.

  • Blue Lakes provides robust and comprehensive services tailored to the individual needs of your child and family, including ABA, Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy.

  • Blue Lakes builds an inclusive, varied space welcoming of all backgrounds and treating all clients and staff with respect and dignity. We take reasonable steps to ensure that all members of our community will have meaningful access and an equal opportunity to participate in our services. Our policy is to ensure meaningful communication with clients and their authorized representatives involving their medical conditions and treatment. We may use outside organizations providing interpretation or translation services, or technology and telephonic interpretation services. Translation services are available upon request.

  • Blue Lakes can promise our learners will have a state-of-the-art behavior program specifically tailored to their needs. Our staff is trained in a multitude of therapies to encourage growth.
